WELCOME TO SOCAL CHARTERS!

SoCal Charters is a budget charter operater based out of Santa Monica, CA (KSMO). We fly charter services anywhere on the west coast at the drop of a hat... as well as maintaing regular pax/freight services to Catalina Island and San Fransisco and maintaining the daily Catalina Island mail run. Our operating radius extends along the west coast as far north as Alaska, as far south as Mexico, and inland as far as Colorado (on occasion flights further inland are required...)

Our motto at SCC is... "If we can stuff it through cargo door of a DC-6, then we can carry it!"... meaning we can ship basically anything except for a Hummer H2... whether it be contraceoptive Pills, aero-engines, schoolchildren, or very large people...

Our operations are from all manner of airstrip... from busy International terminals such as LAX, to tiny dirt strips on the many ranches dotting inland California. The majority of our freight and passengers are flown using one of our 4 DC-3's/C-47's, however for large loads or distances that are realistically out of the DC-3's league, the DC-6 is used, or one of our state of the art Learjet 45's for time sensitive short range freight or executive flights into larger, well-prepared airports (the Lear's usefulness is limited and it ain't too nice to fly IMHO... Serg is the only one who will go near it right now! :-) ).

IN ADDITION TO THE WESTCOAST ATC MULTIPLAYER SERVER, WE ALSO OPERATE AN FSHOST SERVER OF OUR OWN WHICH IS SHARED WITH OUR FIRETANKER SUBSIDIARY, AEROTANK LTD. WE ALSO ENCOURAGE NON-AEROTANK TANKER PILOTS, MILITARY, AND GA PILOTS TO DLY ON THIS SERVER, AS THE PRESENCE OF OTHER TANKER COMPANY’S AND OF FREEFLYERS ADDS TO THE REALISM OF THE EXPERIENCE.
